AUDREY GHEORGHE
FRENCH SCHOOL COORDINATOR
Hi! My name is Audrey, and I’m excited to serve as the French School Coordinator for the upcoming year. Currently, I am in my second year, majoring in political science with a minor in international development. In my free time, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, and traveling whenever I get the chance. Born and raised in Montreal, I have many beloved spots in the city, but my favorite is probably Beaver Lake in the summer.
Last semester, I volunteered with JRP and witnessed firsthand the profound impact the program had not only on the kids but also on me as a volunteer and teacher. By engaging with the script and teaching it, I gained a deeper understanding of the topics. I believe this program is vital because it enlightens children about global issues and fosters empathy for current events that may not be discussed regularly in the classroom or at home. This commitment to raising awareness about children's rights, a cause close to my heart, drew me to JRP. Being part of this program allows me to pursue this passion and make a meaningful difference.
